The Vigil

David Pérez of LaLAB in collaboration with Delicalisten, prestigious curator specializing in avant-garde mystical music, present artists who in a magical night bring together their projects to perform the most mystical themes of their discography, music that will travel from the stairs of the Monastery to the upper cloister, and will look out onto their transits and balconies ..., a mobile, changing dawn. It will begin at midnight with the vocal harmonies of Ivankovà and Cruhda, who through the organ, clarinet and voice and field recordings and electronic processing will embody verses of St. Teresa of Jesus. The second concert by Raül Refree and Maria Mazzotta with a production rooted in traditional songs of the beginning of the Italian century and perform another of the unforgettable journeys of the night. The dawn will continue with the third proposal, the personal universes of the voice of the Polish artist Antonina Nowacka, which reflects waves of sounds collected from different cultures and their deepest nature.

The Vigil ends with the fourth and final concert, the unique recital of hypnotizing sounds full of rhythm and life by Mohamed Reza Mortazavi,an Iranian percussionist widely considered to be the best interpreter of tombak around the world. In between concerts, the 16th century rooms of the Refectory and Sacristy will be transformed into comfortable Ambient spaces, recovering their meditative and silent spirit.
